Panel discussion: International responses to Democratisation in the Arab World
This was the first in a series of Q@A style panel discussions to explore topical issues relating to the Graduate School’s teaching programs.

Australians have closely followed recent moves toward democratisation in North Africa and the Middle East. These events have once again tested the international community’s capacity to balance national sovereignty with the preservation of human rights, and in particular its responsibility to protect populations from grave violations of these rights. Our panel of experts explored the consequences of regime change in Tunisia and Egypt, and uprising in Libya and Bahrain, for international relations.

One Just World: Who should get what and why? Financing economic justice for the world's poor.
The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences joined with OneJustWorld series partners World Vision Australia, AusAID, the International Women’s Development Agency and Oxfam Australia for a forum to discuss the financing of economic justice to the world’s poor.
