Masters by research and Doctor of Philosophy

Domestic students

Domestic students (domestic students are Australian and New Zealand citizens and Australian permanent residents)
Applications are now open

• Applications for entry in Semester 2, 2013 are now open: the closing date for applications is 31st May 2013. Please download the application form.  Applicants should receive an outcome by mid-July 2013.
• Applications for entry in Semester 1, 2014 are now open: the closing date for applications is 31st October 2013. Please download the application form. Applicants should receive an outcome by mid-December 2013.

Students undertaking a PhD are required to commence by mid July 2013 (for the semester two 2013 intake) or mid February (for the semester one 2014 intake) in order to undertake the compulsory coursework in the PhD.

International students

Applications from international applicants for admission into the graduate research programs by the Faculty of Arts are accepted at any time of the year. However PhD students are required to commence by mid July 2013  or February 2014 in order to undertake the compulsory coursework in the PhD.

There is not a separate application form to apply for a scholarship, your application for candidature will be used to assess you for a Scholarship.

The IPRS closing date is 31st August 2013. Only applications that have an unconditional offer will be considered for a scholarship.
