About the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences
Easily recognised by its iconic clocktower, the Old Arts building is at the heart of the Parkville campus. Its purpose-built facilities and flexible learning spaces reflect a contemporary approach to teaching and learning. Network, exchange ideas and socialise with fellow students, employers and community leaders. Research students have access to their own RHD Reading Room, a quiet space with an open-air atrium modelled on the Victorian State Library Reading Room.
Exchange and Study Abroad
Our Melbourne Global Mobility exchange program offers you the unique opportunity to study and live overseas while you complete your Masters degree.
- Student Exchange: Study for a single semester or full year at any one of over 130 exchange partners in over 32 countries around the world
- Study Abroad: Study at an overseas institution that does not have an Exchange agreement with the University of Melbourne
